Just out of interest more than anything how are they dealing with people in ICU with covid, is it just ventilators or are they using drugs etc now?

ICU isnt my area, I believe there are treatments now though

Often though it would be a good idea if the EHIC or newequivalent contained a chip with your medical details on. Maybe even your passport?

Iv got one of those too, basically it's just an appointment card. Means nothing.

Astra Zeneca vaccine is ‘not for profit’ until 1st July.

Even at cost it will be expensive for a third world country to roll it out for the whole population

My point is most people in england at some point will get the chance to get the vaccine, am not sure third world countries will get that chance

My girlfriends mate works as a paediatrician and she’s avoided COVID so far, and I’d say before Christmas was almost doubting the impact of COVID in Sussex hospitals at that time. This week she’s been drafted into ICU and after 3 shifts is a pretty broken woman.
