It’s a tuff one. I’m more interested now in the family holiday late October. Think we should move our short visit to next year, don’t know if es vive will allow that as we’ve paid half already. And as a friend has booked I’m not sure of the terms.

How long does it normally take from the Spanish briefings to get clarity on where and how this applies?:spank:?‍♂️

Me and my friend have been saying this, but every single time we come to terms with how Ibiza will be and thing it'll be fine, we can still enjoy it like that.. Within a day or two some more bad news comes out.
Literally yesterday evening we just had this conversation again, that we could deal with it and will happily still enjoy each night. The next day, more restrictions are announced, you couldn't write it. I'm beginning to think jinxing is a thing ?
Yep. That’s the crux of booking/cancelling/repeat/breath/accept.....then bam. Another change. Same cycle a lot of us have been on. Sucks piles

Same here, dissapointments, cancellations, getting over all the rules:

1 no clubs
2 no dancing in beach clubs
3 mouth masks

And now these new rules...

I will leave for Ibiza with my wife next week but actually the new rules don't bother me that much. In my opinion the only change is 2h to 1h...

On the other hand, due to all the rules, I still fear that every day it can get worse... or the balearics turning red (not able to leave, quarantaine...).

But I have a feeling, when it remains like this, this could be the best holiday in years... (sipping cocktails at the pool and beach, taking a dip in the sea, idyllic lunches and dinners) because of the crappy 2020 so far... ? #staysafe

Wow - sad news. Didn’t know that, randomly found out recently that my dad has worked with Steve’s wife for a long time. Did not know this

I suppose...I suppose...the good news is that peeps will be so reluctant now to book an overseas holiday that come October and spring there will be thousands of cheap last-minute deals for hotels; if only the airlines were as accommodating.

We live in hope

don't give up hope just yet. if the numbers get better (and they will eventually), things will get reversed again. right now it's not looking good, but my gut feeling tells me there might be a chance at the end of what's usually our season

I hope my friend, i really do.

It's all closing up again in E.U. England also closed for The Netherlands, both ways. Paris. Barcelona. Brussel. Marseille. Allot of English left Amsterdam a.s.a.p. They don't want 14 days at home. Problems with jobs. This Covid shit is f***ing it all up....

When they relaxed the lockdowns it was inevitable - just a matter of how long. Hope all those people flouting social distancing and selfishly having illicit private gatherings are happy because it's their spreading of this thing that means everyone will pay the price.
