Now official: Germany declares the Balearic Islands a high risk destination and strongly advises against traveling there. No travel ban though.

Will this not just apply to mainland Spain?

Can’t see how the not being able to enter your hotel after midnight would work in Ibiza.?
unless it means entering other hotels for the use of a bar? i was stumped at that too.. now that really is crap if it is in your hotel by midnight end of the day as much as we all love Ibiza and even in the current situation you can take rules and regs but when a holiday feels more like a chore its time to call it a day

How long does it normally take from the Spanish briefings to get clarity on where and how this applies?:spank:?‍♂️

Me and my friend have been saying this, but every single time we come to terms with how Ibiza will be and thing it'll be fine, we can still enjoy it like that.. Within a day or two some more bad news comes out.
Literally yesterday evening we just had this conversation again, that we could deal with it and will happily still enjoy each night. The next day, more restrictions are announced, you couldn't write it. I'm beginning to think jinxing is a thing ?

This is the worst possible combination, because it means you get stuck in quarantine on return, but cannot cancel trips for free, since there is no official travel advisory (we don't have outright bans in Germany).

Good for those of you who already traveled (and came back) - I will be planning something for October then...

Let's hope Oct restrictions will be lifted again

That would be a dream. Was supposed to be my sons rugby tour. But they’ve moved it to March so we, plus 3 other family’s decided to keep it just for ‘something for 2020’. To be fair the company are good fun, it’s just not Ibiza though.

As long as you have booked a travel package (Pauschalreise), now with an official travel warning for Spain in place - you can cancel for free and get refunded. Bad luck for those who booked hotel/flight separately - the flights will happen and you won't get a refund.
And concerning quarantine: you take the test at the airport back home for free and have to be quarantined as long as you wait for the result - max 48 hrs. With a negative, you're good. For me personally absolutely not worth the risk. If I'd travel willingly to a country with travel warning and have to quarantine for 14 days afterwards the reduced sick pay (Lohnfortzahlung) would be the least of my problems with my company.
