The UK National Health Service assumes that of Covid-19 patients who have required hospitalization, 45 percent will need ongoing medical care, 4 percent will require inpatient rehabilitation, and 1 percent will permanently require acute care. Other preliminary evidence, as well as historical research on other coronaviruses like severe acute respiratory syndrome(SARS) and Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS), suggests that for some people, a full recovery might still be years off. For others, there may be no returning to normal.

Aye stuff like that and the lack of any clear information about immunity means I've taken it much more seriously than I was initially expecting to back in March.

Yeah but the vast majority of people under 60 and in good health don’t make it to the hospital in the first place.

Meanwhile this is the week I'm supposed to be in Ibiza, at least here in the UK the temperature is near 30c so that's a start. This weekend should be the start of the annual uggg...arrrgh...uggg....arrrgh...uggg *out* fortnight. Won't be missed in these towers!

yes we were meant be flying out Sunday so may have to drown my sorrows this weekend but at least August looks like its is going ahead I wonder if masks are mandatory. im a little gutted about U.S though we are due to go L.A and Vegas in October but according to that its looking like not till December.

My first flight will probably be Ibiza late September (already booked), and depending how things are with the flight and airports I'll book immediately on my return for Ibiza a week or fortnight later, and then see what's available in the Costa del Sol for November.

yeah fingers crossed for you, I can imagine Trump will be spitting his dummy out and the U.S will pile pressure on the globe over this so I wouldn't be surprised if our October trip ends up going ahead but we'll see

some interesting numbers...
in switzerland, daily new cases had been super low over the past few weeks. we're talking somewhere between 10 and 20 daily new cases. now they're at 40 (yesterday) and 50 (today). the interesting detail in those numbers is that they say that 20% of the new cases are imported cases from serbia (we've got lots of croatian and serbian 'secondos' living in switzerland just FYI).
one to watch I believe - for two things, one imported cases coming back into the country and two, because soon they can hold parties for up to 1000 people again.

I heard something about 7,000 new cases. I read it somewhere.
EDIT: It's here, in California. I just looked. I thought that's what it was. Yes, lots of us are getting sick.

Sorry for asking probably for the 5000th time but I just saw a post from amnesia saying it's shut all of July and there would be a review on the regulations on the 6th of July but one of the comments on the post, was it has already been confirmed no clubs in Balearic islands would open this year. Is there any truth to this, or is that poster just trolling?
Think they hope the rooftop and or cova santa can open?
