Not sure what the policy makers are expecting....it's totally normal human behavior to party and be in close contact with others.
II will do my July trip to Ibiza...because I want to see and feel the island at least once a year and will have a good time anyway.
But if Spain keeps these rules for the rest of the year...I'll cancel my September trip and go to Croatia or another country where social distancing is gone. Outside it's a useless measure anyway. It was theorized by virologists that outside contagion is really unlikely, even with no distancing. For me, those theories have been proven in the Netherlands because after Easter (beaches were full) and the Black Lives Matter demos...there has been no peak in infections at all.

I suspect you're missing a bit of nuance. At protests are people generally talking/shouting in each other's faces, hugging, kissing? Are they touching the same surface someone else touched a minute ago? Also consider the effect late nights and various chemicals can have on the immune system.

I think there is more screaming at demonstrations than at a party, and touching objects in the dayclub ( Open Air ! ) is limited to my glass.

This is a droplet infection, with the temperatures now prevailing, these aerosols will evaporate immediately in public ... that is the main reason why nothing happened after all the mass demonstrations !

If open air events cannot even take place in summer, how will nightclubs ever open again ?

This. If we and our governments keep living in fear we will never get out of this shit. And please don't mention the magic vaccin...

lol it still cracks me up that people think like this.

THE GOV'T HAS ALL YOUR INFO ALREADY. I'm guessing you have a driver's license, passport, employer, pay taxes, etc. They don't care how many pints you had last friday night.

Why do you think leaving your name/#/email with the bar/restaurant/etc. is such a problem? My understanding is you're leaving it with the establishment for 30 days in case you're exposed. After 30 days they toss the info.

I have no drivers license , have a passport, 3 different addresses and 2 names.. the bastards won't find me.. lol

Agreed on this. They’re doing this in Germany too, you go eat or drink somewhere, they take your name and phone number so that if there is a case traced to that restaurant they can inform all the people who attended on the same day.

Not sure how a reliable track and trace system will work without people cooperating, giving fake details etc. Pretty worrying really.

The main problem is a lot of establishments are not geared for all the data protection and security of data.

Another idea (with issues too) would be a QR code on way in with place name/location and date. Ideally with time as well and refreshed every 30 mins (print it out or on a tv).
Peeps take a pic of it/scan code and keep it safe. But does rely on people checking on some central site to see new "QR codes of concern". Opt in as it where.

we know the government already has our info. Craig72 was saying it’s another way of getting MORE info.
Of course I have a problem with the government having shitloads of info about me and knowing almost every move I make. 1984 has been slowly happening for years the amount of cameras everywhere watching all of our daily goings on. Cashless shopping will come next so EVERYTHING I spend my money on is known by government banks amazon ect. And yes I know they already have this info from our phones and wotnot. It’s a trap that we have all fallen into. But doesn’t mean I have to be pleased about it.

Mrs cousin has ushuaia booked for a week in September traveling from Australia. Am I right saying it's closed all season.. or is the hotel opening with no partys

Yes, they transfer people to Hard Rock hotel , Bless Hotel ibiza (haven't heard or seen this one)

They booked ushuaia after spending a day there last year and were impressed with some girl in a martini glass swinging her hair about and pouring water over herself.. ?

For e500 per day they could have her follow them around and do it every lunchtime at the beach with a 5 gallon bucket.

damnnit I thought I’d go unnoticed!!

Just found you a business model. Wet champagne t-shirts to-go!!! Only asking %5 commission as my cut (btw: gross, not net).

I've just seen a paper ledger with a date on it. Everyone signs in and after 30 days they just shred the info. I think low tech is probably the solution

How do you stop people signing it seeing other peoples details? That's a breach in itself. (Like when a company CC emails everyone instead of BCC).

I'd probably be ok with it, but imagine young women getting stalked by weirdo guys. Great got name and contact details ?

the person working would be the one keeping track. Show ID, write down the info. Would keep others from seeing the peoples details. There's honestly a million ways around it, just comes down to whether you want to know if you'd been exposed.
