it's true. state of alarm still valid for a few days and those people weren't part of the pilot project nor had they a good reason to travel.
but come sunday state of alarm will be over
So will the Ushuaia hotel open at all? will it be as busy if the people know there will be no events?
Surely part of the reason they overcharge is the events side of it, if there are no events will people still pay over the odds?

no ushuaïa won't open as a hotel and that was announced a week or so ago.

Majority of hotels and have had a complete refurb as well, one of the hotels with the roof top pool, and numerous restaurants around it looks nice. I can’t see how they will ever get rid of the image it has if it keeps attracting the 18/30 crowd.

Why is all the news today so bleak! Matching the weather in the UK. How can they possibly police the time people are spending in pubs...that is the most ridiculous idea I've heard so far I think...what difference does the length of time make? Social distancing yeah...i can understand...

just pathetic going on that, once in the damage has been done surely its better to ask people once in an establishment to stay for as long as possible if you are intending on visiting a few spots try make it just the one for a longer period

The ideas sound even worse than the Dutch government ideas lol
So if you would have one group in a pub and they got infected, that's just one group. But in this proposal you have multiple groups per evening in the same venue ?

Agree, can just imagine the hassle bar staff will get if they say to 'merry' people that their time is up and they must leave.
Im not a scientist but im sure ive read the time period for increased risk of catching it at a socially distanced 2m is more like 10-15mins, not the 2-3 hours timeslots proposed for pubs. So that would be pointless.
Table service seems to the best option, but that doesnt work for every pub and more bar staff may mean it isnt viable.
