I'm glad not coming from UK to ibz
your 14 days quarantine ? was mentionned on our french national TV today

Weird, still on dole at home for 1 more week ,at end of week that should be 3 months resting at home.
i don't know what the customer need to allow us,external workers to go back to work
May 11th we were allowed to go back to work since end of lockdown in France.

Covid 19 crisis has some IT side effects
Computers switch off for 30+ days
Password policy renewal 90 days, i will go to branch office that friday to change some passwords and i will be fine for another 90days hoping to be back to office 1 day without accounts locked

Customer used to ask us our holidays scheduling around april but we couldnt give him this piece of information.
Can't wait to tell him my holidays is from july 21th to aug 5th,as without his agreement i can say goodbye to my ibz peaceful trip and loosing 400€ non refundable booking ?, i will survive as i can consider a +1000€ saving if not going to ibz this summer ?

Got my money back Saturday for the first 11 nights at an apartament, with no problem
I got an e-mail just now from Ryanair offering me yet another voucher instead of the refund I applied for a month ago.

'Customers who choose not to accept a voucher will receive their refund in due course once this crisis has passed. Over the coming weeks and months, we will be working hard to process refund requests as quickly as we can...'

So that's good then....

Jet2 look like they are putting their flight programme start date back to 15th of July. Lots of rumours on twitter and you can no longer book before those dates.

Iberia refunded my taxes and fees pretty quickly, but I've had to call multiple times to try and get my Avios returned.

Torre Del Mar was really easy to work with on my hotel cancellation. They offered a nice discount (I think 20%) towards re-booking for 2021, so they will have my business whenever I am able to go.

This seems to link in wìth the timings for the proposals for the Government agreeing 'air bridges' with other countries.

Its all a mess at the moment, we didnt lockdown people flying in when the pandemic started or peaked, and I fail to see how a half-hearted attempt to get people flying in to fill in a form and promise to stay isolated for 14 days helps.

Doesnt help people trying to book for school summer holidays, its all too uncertain. As ive said in this thread before ive given up going abroad this year and plan to see bits of the UK I havent seen instead.

So has anyone seen the story that a socially distanced rave was allowed to take place somewhere near Nottingham? It was outdoor so it was probably completely safe but i don't understand how something that so clearly breaks the rules was allowed
. The council gave them permission in advance and when the police arrived they showed the documents so were allowed to continue, apparently social distancing was being adhered to.

I have no worries that this happening isn't really a problem it's just how did they get away with something that is clearly not in keeping with the guidelines, the council could have easily said no and i doubt the party organiser would have even contested it.

I think it's now safe to think that outdoor events are about as safe as you can get now.. Fingers crossed for some outdoor events to be allow on the island to start with

this article uses a model that says that thanks to lockdown here in spain almost 500k lives were saved. it includes numbers for other countries too

Was thinking of staying at Torre del Mar this year. Have you stayed there before? Looks great

I stayed there in 2015, no complaints & perfectly situated between Figueretas & PDB if you want venture there..The town is easy enough to get to as well. There are some really good bars and restaurants in Figueretas ??

Iberia have emailed about my July flight and offered me a refund or voucher, (30 euros) had to call for a refund which I couldn't be arsed to do so accepted a voucher valid till Dec 2021. Haven't heard from Ryan Air about my flight from Madrid

i read that many french people that had a july fligh to BCN ( or with BCN halt) are cancelled
it's not Madrid but i can foresee same situation Between Madrid & BCN following covid 19 reports
Life not really back to normal along july month ☝

Yeah, got that too. Just when you thought Ryanair were playing by the rules...

Nice hotel, I mostly stay there when in Ibiza. Perfect if you have a car - it has a parking lot, you can drive everywhere except Ibiza Town without getting into a gridlock, and there are Aquabus boats to Ibiza Town departing from the nearby pier (not sure if they are running this year though). And sea view rooms are actually facing the sea and offer great sunrise views.

There is one thing I dislike there though: light pollution. The hotel has illuminated balconies, and that light gets into the room, so you have to sleep with curtains closed if you like sleeping in the dark.
