Ops! That too!And Boxing Day
Ops! That too!And Boxing Day
Just a coincidence as Brits get various random holidays called ‘bank holidays’. Shops are usually open but no banks, post offices or offices. Had to look at what Memorial Day is as not heard of it before. We have Remembrance Day on 11 Nov, but that isn’t a bank holiday.Brits have a holiday on Monday because of US Memorial Day? Or is it just for people who work in finance since all of the NY bankers will be off?
..but not Scotland where they have the day after New Year's Day!And Boxing Day

Interesting as a possible reason why some get it worse; covid manages to reduce number of t-cells in a person.

Coronavirus: Immune clue sparks treatment hope
Better understanding of Covid-19's impact on the immune system gives hope an existing drug might aid recovery.www.bbc.co.uk
You’re right. It’s a shit ideaBut that's not what raving is about,
there will be no atmosphere, ticket prices even more expensive and half the capacity, and wearing a face mask, you can't even see anyone's face
Perhaps the other parts of the immune system, killer cells, B cells, macrophages? How does this square with the theory that cytokine storms are the big culprit in severe cases? Wouldn't replenishing T-cells, which produce cytokines, prime the pump for another storm....
Actually just found this article
Kinda like taking too much MDMA, run out of seratonin and you're stuffed ?![]()
T Cell Counts and Cytokine Storms May Hold Key to Effective COVID-19 Treatment
Cytokine storms may affect the severity of COVID-19 cases by lowering T cell counts, according to a new study.www.technologynetworks.com
I know, while it's a horrible situation, reading up on how cells, viruses and the immune system works is mind blowing ?.... it's amazing the conceptual education you get from a few mis-spent weekends![]()
