Clubs in Seoul closed again ( or maybe whole country ? ) They found the guy who brought it. One infected went in , 18 infected went out. Dont have a link now , should be easy to find in google.

In my opinion its a bad sign for bars and clubs anywhere. Clubs seems to be virus paradises.

Please have look at google

Edit : Maybe Seoul area only ( 2000 clubs and bars ) closed a fter 1 week operation

Sunning in the garden right now. Earlier went for a walk at the nearby abandoned golf course. Very cathartic.

Firing up the BBQ at 17:00 BST

Overcast tomorrow and then temperature drops next week so making the most of this ?

What's annoying to me is the uk gov announces prime minister is going to detail next phase on Sunday, so for best part of a week all we hear is, "you'll have to wait till Sunday, can't comment".

Either they still messing about getting the plans sorted, or they are idiots and stick us all in a kind of limbo for week. Should have detailed plan on day announced going to tell us.

For sure clubs and bars are the easiest and quickest way to spread it around no matter what practices they have put in place

Restaurants I think will be a little easier to control if the restaurants have less capacity and have each table in sections and distance rule in place

No partying for a year or more??

People are going to be very dissapointed at 7pm tomorrow as not much will change. The VE street parties etc will just give them ammo to extend the lockdown. Personally I’ve had enough now. My hatred for the media is at an all time high, I don’t think I’ll read another newspaper once this is over, and they have the cheek to ask people to support them!!

Sounds like "lots" of people have said bollox to the rules with London police saying fighting a losing battle with hundreds of picnics in london parks. I can see several neighbours in garden with visiting relatives drinking and having BBQs.?‍♂️

Wonder if in 2-3 weeks we'll see spike in cases.

You can see how infectous it is , or can be.
Imagine if someone is asymptomatic or he didn't get tested/detected until returned home to his country.
There are now 40 cases associated with one 29 year old at nightclubs.
So in clubs and close quarters, the R value is massively over 2-3 range.

So yeah, rooms full of wasted people probably not a good idea without a vaccine, even if those affected would have mild symptoms. (Because they would take it to others where it might not be mild)

It's a trickle at the moment so will be really obvious if so

Massive party coming out of the "affordable houses" in the village we are all supposed to be supporting the proliferation of tonight. They're mostly young or alcoholics in there. Didn't help that the Parish Council clerk's hubby had a birthday on VE day and they set an example encouraging street partying yesterday. It's just been used as an excuse to let it all go and as usual once the beers get cracked you can forget about social responsibility.

They need to ban outdoor drinking outright if they want to ease restrictions on people being outside more. It doesn't take a genius to link A to B ? I think South Africa got it right banning all alcohol sales throughout the lockdown. Both saves people from themselves and averts the source of a whole load of trouble.

I hope condom manufacturers are already working on full-body condoms which would allow going to clubs again!
