Yes, exactly. As per London, travel should be for essential reasons only. The “R” number is still far too high in Western Europe right now for public transport.erm...so what would you suggest? I'm not sure I understand it correctly but is your approach that public transport should stay shut until covid has gone?
As to masks, the science isn’t really there to say they do that much. I see people all the time here in London wearing masks incorrectly, e.g. touching their faces with their masks, masks around their necks, and even smoking while wearing them etc.
Imagine droplets with covid infection landing on someone’s mask, there’s no guarantee that those droplets won’t get touched and then with low hygiene levels ingested anyway. People aren’t trained in the usage of PPE and it shows.
