Is anyone watching Trump??? He is having a breakdown on live TV. Wow

I literally can't have him on in the house anymore, and I live in the USA. In less than five minutes, either I'm ready to have an anxiety attack or I'm talking my partner down from a fit of rage and depression.

Though it's probably easier to watch a trainwreck when you're not part of it, much as I was pretty engaged in watching coverage of Brexit from across the Atlantic.

In the 70's we used to pay a premium for decent seats and service on airlines, and even had to wear our Sunday best (remember the glorious chandeleers at Manchester Airport, when it was an airport and not a shopping mall? I won't be bothered if those days come back!!

And my Dad would sit in the back in the smoking section, while my Mom sat with the kids in non-smoking where we listened to in-flight audio that played through headphones that were really rubber hoses carrying music from speakers in the seat.

Nah, I think I'm going with how flying is in this decade. ?

I was stunned. Watched a few before but this was amazing

The British Government have received some heavy criticism over the weeks, and very deservedly in most cases.

Spains socialist led government have appeared to slip under my radar, until I watched this. Pretty painful viewing ?

Actually starts at 40 seconds in, has some advertising waffle at the start ?

In the interest of friendly debate. On a full lockdown ambulances are so overstretched in the UK they cant get to heart attacks and strokes, often 2 hours +. Close the lock down what happens? NHS will be overwhelmed

Must be loads of appointments and operations being delayed. Think of how many people will die from other illnesses if we allow coronavirus cases to rise again.

much as risk in the supermarket

Not a single infection has been traced back to a supermarket in Austria. Even among the cashiers, who worked for weeks without any protection, there are no more infections than in the normal population. It looks like the big infection hotspots were really big events, bars, nightlife, restaurants etc.... :(

It’s tragic that cancer patients may not be getting the full ranges of treatment and all those Brits obsessed about the NHS being the greatest thing ever might want to look at the cancer survival rates even before covid for western nations. I bet the UK will take a further massive hit compared to Germany. There simply isn’t the capacity in the NHS to do much other than crisis manage covid.

Our hospitals are coping really well, I'm amazed how well to be honest. This was on the BBC News saying the problem is ambulance services are over stretched causing delays
