I think it's important to know where this is going or might be going. I'd like to be optimistic but I don't really see any reason to be...

Relative who is a coordinator in the NHS thinks they are preparing for pretty strict restrictions well into June the way it’s going. Still at least a week from a ‘consistent’ peak.

Maybe we just need to take time out and assess where we're going as a planet. Our consumption and draw on the Earth's resources would need to slow eventually..

I've actually found all the pix of clear sea and clean air and wild animals roaming the streets of Valencia and Llandudno quite moving.. but humanity can't all go back to nature. There's just too many of us! So what gives?

I wont post again. Pissed as per after a shift. Watch some 49 year old get intubated then covered in clingfilm to go to ICU. This will last until a vaccine in some form or other, NHS coping so need to relax restrictions and keep economy going, but as for normal life resuming? It isnt so get on with it and dont complain

sitting in my garden at the weekend and there was long periods of silence with no planes and no cars. Was very surreal but makes you realise how much there normally is

I think we can do better if some people are less greedy. We need less air and car travel, we need to less eat meat, we need to ditch fast fashion and silly over consumption fantasies... We need to find a different way of valuing people, where nurses are worth more than bankers and footballers. That's just for starters.

While we’re at it, gig/club/football tickets capped at £30. Less/no VIP in clubs and a max price of €3 for a bottle of water. Actually scrap that, water should be free!
