We’ve booked Hotel Mare Nostrum in Playa d’en Bossa for early June. I understand these businesses need to survive but I find this a bit unreasonable.
Happy to get a credit rather than a refund but to say we must use it in 2020 isn’t really on is it? Or am I being harsh?

Aware of the global situation caused by VOC-19, Playasol Ibiza Hotels offers the possibility of modifying your non-refundable reservation and in case of not knowing a new date, we will offer a credit equivalent to the value of your booking.
In order to access this voucher, we need a proof in which it shows that you can’t travel, generally a flight cancelation.
The above mentioned credit, valid for the year 2020, can be used for future bookings with check-in until the end of this year.
If the amount of the new reservations exceeds the credit, the difference must be paid while you are processing the new booking.
If the amount of the new reservations is less than the credit, the difference will not be refunded.
We remain at your complete disposal and in the hope of having you as our guests soon.
