Cocoon20 - Discussion thread

Londoners, anybody who still needs a ticket, I understand at least one ticketing platform will be offering BOGOF tickets to several Egg shows as part of their Black Friday deals. Cocoon will be one of them
 
for what it's worth I bought sound of the season on itunes where it's at least 9.99, hope most of it goes to cocoon/artists and not apple.

what a mellow, quiet mix 1. sven can't have played these tracks very often this season, apart from his warmup sets or afters. love it though.
and boy, the last third of mix2 with those drony techno tracks!! would have loved to hear these in the amnesia main room!

Speaking of Cocoon, you just doing the London one? Or heading west to Bristol too?
 
Today Cocoon has released an ebook with a wrap up of the 20th season. Its a great read with great photography.
Now with Pyramid moving to sundays lets hope for another cocoon season mondays at Amnesia!!
 
How was cocoon at egg/motion?

Motion emailed me free guest list tickets on the day but couldn't make it since I had flight next day, gutted!

I went to Egg and have to say it's the most I've enjoyed a night at Egg. Really don't like the venue though so not got much to compare with. and I actually drove so had a completely sober night. Sven played a lot of his usually highlight tunes from over the season so was very nice to hear those again. Nothing ground breaking and in all honesty just didn't compare to the other set's I've seen him play this year.

Thing is it's an unfair comparison since the other sets I have seen where Time Warp (and TW afterparty) Underground, Amnesia a number of times and Benimussa. All in all very nice night out.
 
yeah, that's my experience with sven too. after the ibiza season he tends to rinse the same tunes from the summer/festival season until his holiday in january. only after that he usually returns with fresh vinyl :)

How come you don't like egg? Love the sound and ambiance there! Somehow reminds me rabbit hole in benimussa

Would have loved to hear the highlight tunes from the season once more.
