#Brexit

Interesting research done recently indicates that a larger proportion of those between 18 to 34 actually want to stay in, but the down side is that a smaller percentage have actually said they will actually go out and vote (young voter apathy). Im assuming that the majority of people on these forums (although this may be over generalising) will be in the under 34 bracket and hence are more keen to stay in.

Conversely a larger proportion of those who are over 50 (like me) have said that they want to leave and this age group has indicated that a larger proportion will actually go out and vote.

The older you are the more likely you are to actually vote in any election apparently.

Hence why most policies are aimed towards older voters. It's ridiculous really, I engage, I vote, I actively make sure I'm not just voting for who can eat a bacon sandwich the best, but I'm still shafted either way because others in the 18-26 bracket just don't connect with politics in general.

Predictions:

The cities will vote massively for REMAIN
The more affluent small towns / provincial backwaters will vote to LEAVE
Anywhere dependent on EU regional funds will vote to REMAIN
SCOTS / WELSH will vote to REMAIN
N Ireland will split 50/50 - see also expats
Young will vote to REMAIN
Old to LEAVE
Some on both left/right will vote for whatever Cameron doesn't want or what Boris does want or what Corbyn does/doesn't want
Some will vote LEAVE 'for a laugh'
Some will vote LEAVE because they want to blow up the channel tunnel and/or all foreigners
Some will vote REMAIN because they're on a nice little earner
Some will vote REMAIN because they're scared of PUTIN / ISIS /TRUMP
Some will vote LEAVE because they're scared of PUTIN / ISIS / BRUSSELS / ROMANIAN FRUIT PICKERS
Some won't vote at all because they're smacked out at home watched bake off or didn't know there was a referendum or whatever

Remain will win 57/43 (70% turnout)

Honestly hope the turnout is higher than 70%.
This vote is more important than any general or local election we've had for years.

I'm getting a bit worried here....leave ahead in the polls and odds have dropped from 8/1 to 3/1...oooohhhh shit!
