Cocoon posted the majority of their lineup today and Luciano was not on it. If anything, maybe he'll have like a one night guest appearance, but nothing like he had last year. Luciano cannot have his own night at space IMO....he'll need someone else with him to fill up. Honestly I dunno how much more he needs after Destino....I think that's perfect for him.

No surprises on the cocoon lineup, except villalobos playing a bigger role again.
and notably absent compared to last years: chris liebing, dettmann, klock. doing hyte I guess.
with alicante and kaden they held on to their biggest 'new' faces, they are great.

Kinda seems like Cocoon is going more of a housey route more than ever, no? Not that I mind, I prefer that route, especially in Ibiza. Pretty big of them to snatch up the Innervisions guys and looks like some of the Diynamic guys as well....they should add Adriatique.
So is Hyte now going to be the premier techno night? It is a German brand, kinda makes sense if that's how things shake out.

they will play dc a few times this year. spoke to them a few weeks ago and they have quite a few things lined up on the island this summer.

I personally don't think cocoon looks much housier than last year. but of course you do see a difference in artists. the innervisions thing isn't new, they played at cocoon last year too. but because of hyte, there is a bunch of artists which isn't available to cocoon (and other promoters) anymore. and those guys obviously have to be replaced somehow.

not sure if this is the correct thread to post this...but.... is there any word yet if Insane with be back at Pacha on Fridays? Last year I was pleasantly surprised by Jon Digweed / Dennis Ferrer set and would deffo like to add to the list of must do when back this year (if this should be on another thread please advise!)

Thump is saying the party is opening up on May 1st but this site is saying June 17th?
I think he's right about the open air vibe....but I don't think moving to Sankeys is gonna help that much unless they go on the roof, but that aint happening. I feel like they should have went for a full on hippie vibe and grabbed some spot on the beach or destino and booked some nice, live, day time acts like Bonobo or something.

We all assume that MK will play a massive part of Friday at Pacha. Not sure if it will be "Insane" in name or another name. Sadly my guess is Digweed won't be there. But as a massive Digweed fan I hope he is.
No idea why we have radio silence from Pacha on Fridays! I mean it's only just over a month until opening.
Big contract signing issues maybe?
