Another Girlie Thread

I have the High Beam stuff by Benefit which you do the same thing with but might not be as good

What are they actually sposed to do :? I feel like I'm missing out, in a morning I just put Clarins Beauty Flash on my face and then some tintest moisturiser. What will Strobe Cream/High Beam do??

It does what it says on the tin ;) It highlights the cheekbones

I only use it on a night out, bit too much for the day, it just catches the light - so I am told!

 So I've spent 31 years of my life having unhighlighted cheekbones 8O Quick I need some now

So which is best - the MAC one or the Benefit one??

The MAC one might be more subtle and more everyday wear. I usually use Benetint which gives a rosy look to your cheeks then a bit of bronzer over the top and then if I was going on a night out would use the High Beam

What is Beauty Flash?

And what are the best tinted moisturisers without making me look orange?

Now I feel I am missing out!

Clarins Beauty Flash is one of the best inventions ever http://uk.clarins.com/main.cfm?prodID=89 it's like a moisturiser that you put on that makes you like radiant (or so I like to believe  ).

I use either Clinique Almost Make-Up or Boots No 7 Tinted Moisturisers - I don't like foundation but these are really sheer.

So the idea of tinted moisturiser is it gives you a bit of colour but not as much as a fake tan one would? I have never understood the concept I am afraid

I use dermlogica tinted moisturiser - nice and light and gives good coverage :D

Me too!! I love that stuff. It acts like a foundation but lighter and not so oily for the skin. I have so many Dermalogica products - i swear by them - my skin has never been so good.

Just having a look at the Clarins one now on the link you posted!

Might have to check these out. I dont like foundation, used to use it when I was younger like the Dream Mousse and all that but then I was told I didnt really need it on my skin and my skin did feel rather clogged up so to speak with it on. But sometimes I feel I do need "something"

Yep that's what tinted moisturisers are perfect for - it doesn't look like you're wearing anything but it gives you something rather than having bare skin.

(God I've just realised it's 11.45, I'm meant to be writing 2 presentations and all I've done this morning is talk about make-up   )
