Watch out with highlighters, especially for photographs. I had a night out and applied a fair bit of benefit high beam, and all the pics came back looking as if i was made of wax. Not a good look. Just leave the cheeks alone, I find highlighters work best down the centre of your nose and right at the sides of your face.

This is what I was getting at the with light reflecting stuff and photos.

I have a picture of me on a night out and I look horrendous - far too much touche eclat stuff under my eyes! It was fine in the flesh so to speak but on the photos I look like I've been on a sunbed wearing massive shades. I had terrible white marks under my eyes which in turn made my eyes look like tiny slits
