announcement: stivi leaving ibiza spotlight

I can now also reveal I have joined the Pacha family, so the cherries are my new home now. At the same time I am still doing Balearic Outdoor Adventures, it's the beautiful Yin & Yang of Ibiza, great clubs & gorgeous nature!


PS: as usual I am gonna be straight with you all: unless I do owe you a favour (I do to some of the members here, and they know who they are), don't even bother asking me for guestlists please. As I had mentioned previously on here, after two years with the clubs closed, this summer is all about buying those tickets!

right guys, time for another update from my end.

after 3 years with the pacha family, I've finished working for the cherry brand after the summer season.

from the get-go when I started balearic outdoor adventures right after the pandemic, my goal was that the job with pacha would enable me to slowly transition away from nightlife while I am growing my hiking business. and this is exactly where I stand now. over the last three years I have grown my baby into a proper business and at the same time, especially in the last two summers, I have also somewhat lost joy working in the nightlife industry in its current form - or let's just say I am enjoying my outdoors job way way more compared to sitting in front of a screen. I've worked in ibiza's clubbing industry since 2007 and I had some fantastic times - my time with spotlight were some of the best years of my life - but after nearly 20 years of ibiza clubbing it's turned a little stale for me and it's a good time to focus on something that really satisfies me.

this summer I only worked a small part time amount for pacha already and from now on I will fully focus on balearic outdoor adventures. I will always be a clubber at heart and I love a good party, but nowadays less is definitely more and I'm happy with a few good parties a year. in fact this summer I haven't been to pacha or dc10 at all (obviously I also didn't go to hï or ushuaïa, why on earth would I?) and only managed to do amnesia for its closing night. I went to akasha three times though and right now it's certainly the island's best club. I hope laurent garnier returns in spring time next year (or anytime in the future tbh)

anyways, back to hiking. many of you guys on here have been on hikes with me in the past few years and I owe you a big thank you. you've helped me growing BOA into what it is today and I'm mega grateful for that. you all know who you are. gracias, gracias, gracias.

@stivi What a journey you've been on my friend! Pleased for, and proud of you. I'll be in touch for next summer - my boys are getting big, so we may have to step up a notch!

Thanks for everything over the years. We will eventually make it on a hike! The FIRST day on the island - I know the rules - we will make it happen.

Thanks for all the insight over the years, and if it’s gossip - you were always the first to contact to deny or confirm. And obviously thanks for all the countless last minute “Guest List Please Stivi” messages over the years.

It’s amazing how you have transitioned into building the company that you have, and an inspiration to me and many.

Glad to hear your business is running well, one day I will manage to request a hike before everything is sold out.
