The Specials to close Ibiza Rocks
Cant find this posted anywhere, but gutted I miss this one by a few days!
2-Tone legends
The Specials are set to close the summer season at Ibiza Rocks.
 An iconic British pop group,
The Specials reformed last year amid acrimonious circumstances. Leader Jerry Dammers was left out of the line up, with the two parties exchanging barbed remarks in the press.
However the bad vibes have not extended to the band's live show. Already, it feels as if The Specials have never been away with the 2-Tone legends playing several lengthy tours across Europe and beyond.
 Playing Coachella earlier this year,
The Specials are now a bona fide festival attraction. The band draw crowds wherever they go, and their good time skank has been chosen to close the Ibiza Rocks summer season.
A lavish hotel on the White Island, Ibiza Rocks is now a notable venue. Supplying tourists with some rock thrills, each summer the hotel resounds to a series of fantastic shows.
This summer has been no exception, with the likes of Biffy Clyro, The Courteeners and more taking part. Ian Brown played a one off show at Ibiza Rocks, a matter of weeks before performing to thousands of fans at Platt Fields.
Now the season will come to a close with one final party.
The Specials are set to play Ibiza Rocks on September 14th, ending a summer of huge names. The ska kings will be battle hardened after a number of summer excursions, playing festivals across Europe.
The band recently headlined Oya Festival in Norway, and have taken their skanking sound as far as Japan.
Evergreen ska-punks, The Specials will get the party started on September 14th. The final party will include a number of other guests, which will be announced nearer to the time.
The Specials have confirmed the following show:
