So VAR influenced the ref to give a pen so why wasnt the player booked? Rules state its got to be deliberate handball ...so it must of been deliberate

Another rule then that doesnt make sense, Of course it should be. If you foul someone as the last man you get sent off. Ive seen yellow cards given for tackles that arn't nowhere near a foul yet be given yellowcards, yet a deliberate handball isnt a yellow card? Whats the difference? Deliberate is cheating. Not true. Deliberate hand ball is not an automatic yellow card offence.
Wonder if they will suffer the hate of the world and be labelled hooligan thugs?http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...lebration-sides-second-World-Cup-triumph.html
Glad to see the French out-do the English
Suarez done it against Ghana at the 2010 world cup and got sent off. . . That was right on the line but still, deliberate is deliberate. The rule needs to be clarifiedDeliberate handball preventing a goal always used to be a straight red offence. Has that changed? Admitted that's slightly different from merely a deliberate hand ball. But agree, it should be a yellow if it happens anywhere in or near the box.
