I still clearly remember the '86 finals when Argentina beat Germany 3:2. Germany was (and still is) my favorite team, however, from that time onwards I absolutely hated Argentina. Some childhood experiences leave an everlasting experience.

I was a bit annoyed at the Germans, to be honest. I used to be excited about Ballack signing for Chelsea but a couple of his roll-arounds on the turf left something to be desired.

So are you staying home tonite?

Ya... just back from Ibiza last night and I'm a bit knackered... 11 parties in 13 days and all that, plus a serious walkabout in Barcelona on the way back. I should be asleep by now but I'm busy with some downloads...

He won't be any better. England just don't play as a team.

Don't roll your eyes at me, sonny! Just telling the truth. Someone like Scholari would've been fantastic but sadly I can't see things changes with McClaren at the helm.

how tragic that we played with the most passion after going down to 10men.

portugal werent all that and were there for the taking.

just shame we didnt bother to turn up, and we deserved to lose.

Argentina - Messi should have played every minute of the knockout stages.........pekerman flunked high school, with his tactis, in the big game

France - Zidane was AWESOME, prob the best performance i've ever seen by the great man in 10 years or so of watching him.............he showed ronaldinho, rooney, messi, riquelme, etc, etc why he is the greatest player of the modern game.........................immense. he has been a passenger for R.Madrid this year. Hope he goes out with a bang. ZIZOU!!!!!!!!8)
Thought france played as well as any team in the tournament in the game

Brazil / England - forget the players you have, if the system is wrong then it doesn't matter how many great players you have..........you're gonna struggle. Playing rooney up front alone is like playing riquelme or ronaldinho up front alone - fcukin stupid:roll:. brazil and england must have created 1 maybe 2 chances of note in 210 minutes between them.............pathetic!!
