England to reach the semis at least.

The Dutch to get KO'd in the group stages.

Ivory Coast to do very well.

Germans to get to the final (again)
 
USA makes second round only to be immediately thumped 10-0 by Brazil

Italy out in the group stages

I differ on the semis: I think it'll be the Czechs, England, Brazil, Argentina
 
So wait.. you're suggesting that Ghana will pimp the USA for 2nd in the group (always possible) and then survive Brazil :!: ???

I think roughly the same but Germany in the semis instead of Argentina

i reckon the ghanians will kick the brazilians off tha park.

face it, even tho your lot are 4/5th in the fifa rankings, u aint gonna get out of the group!
 
We all know (and I'll admit it) the rankings don't mean ****... and no one believes them! The US is probably among the most underrated teams by their opponents.

I think we'll make it out of the group in 2nd (Czechs first) but no way past Brazil.

i dont think the italians will do well, they all want to be starts and dont play that well as a team.

so usa and the czech to advance from that group.
 
England to draw with Paraguay, beat T & T and lose to Sweden

Brazil or Argentina to win

Netherlands and Spain to do well

Ghana to be dark horses

...nah seriously i can see England doing well and if they get put out the rest of the competition gets a bit boring. Just better keep that quiet up here. :idea:
 
got 20 quid on italy to win it

a 5er each way on sweden

think england will get to the quarters

argentina to do well to and Riquelme to be player of the tournement
 
Ooh.. the Czechs might have lost Milan Baros to injury for their the opening game.

Glimmer of hope for the USA to top the group if they win Monday :)
(thus avoiding Brazil in the 2nd round)

Also, Cisse is out for France with a broken leg...
 
As much as id like Spain to do well I think we're destined for another early exit :cry:
They didnt play too well yesterday, but Torres did score a blinder 8) Cant see past Brazil to win

I read about that somewhere... have you seen a clip online?

(though it's hard to contend with that one where a defender sent the throw-in back to his goalkeeper, who subsequently missed when trying to stop the ball with his foot and the ball rolled into the net)
