Jaffa is a legend, a little birdy told me today that, Play 2 will be more commercial orientated this year, zinema bar is now owned by the eden/play 2 peeps, and that gorms garage is going to become the Space Lounge, and that Kanya will not be finished in time !!!
 
Not sure about a yates in IBIZA thou, always gunna have that stigma but with jaffa at least the music wil be good !
 
is this confirmed that kanya will not be ready in time?...they hav had since october...surely if they had ppl working round the clock, it should nearly be done
 
yes buuuuut.......... you have to understand that they are not doing just one bar, they are doing two blocks of apartments (which will include, at least, one bar). in theory, this kind of works have to stop between 1st of may till 30th of september so, in theory again, they wont be able to finish it!! :idea:

30/03/06 Monroes has now been sold.Christian Hall from Denmark has bought the bar and will be running it the same,apartments can still be booked from here. Phil, David and myself will be helping Chris this year so I hope you will support him like you have done us. Can we take this opportunity to thank all of you who have supported us over the years not only for your custom but your friendship also. There will be a farewell party in Monroes on June 11th for all who would like to come and join us.....drinks on us of course. Once again a big Thank You for 15 years of our lives. it's in fact "re-named" MARAVILLAS :) :) , as it was named so before, when the "real" Maravillas moved from the corner(now Croissant Show) to this location.
 
ah, thats very interesting because i cant remember the names of this little bar prior to soap. the other day i found this picture.....

ask the Can Vinas lady...she will remember when Carmen and her husband sold the Bar Maravillas. Damn, their cheese/ham bocadillo was as good as in Can Costa!!
