Had the same email from Jet2. Was on the 7:30am flight on the 2nd sept. Had an email saying we are flying the same day and from the same airport but didn’t tell us anything other than that. Captured cancelled and Blades lose, what a shit Monday ?
 
personally I could't care less about a burger king franchise but anyway.

I was in town earlier and while obviously not everywhere is open, ibiza town does have a summery feel now. if feels more like june than middle of july but I guess that won't surprise anyone

Bad times. I was hoping they’d do something for captured like a down tempo evening of in search of sunrise or recreate the chilled Euphoria albums live. Well that was the daydream based on nothing at all.

Usually see this happen with franchises if they become unprofitable. Maybe BK looked ahead and predicted this year wouldn’t be worth it.

Sign of the times I suppose ?

As long you can get a coffee and a croissant at croissant show , everything is ok.
They close at 11 , I remember ... After that , go home or find a bar for 2 hours , maybe
80 Percent of the tourists dont do more at a normal holiday at nights , so they realise corone only because the masks ...
 
Funny you mention Croissant Show. I just had a chat with Andres and he's surprised how busy the port is at night compared to ten days ago, even attracting again the locals.

The bar owners have been complaining for years about the big impact Playa den Bossa, and especially Ushuaïa, had in the area so they're glad this summer is looking better than expected for them with PdB disappeared from the map...

because its a daytime venue

Surprising for me : People ar Dalt Vila looks different as the Ushi guests.

noticed the last few years we have walked right to the end of the port more and more bars on the front have been struggling more than ever ..unfortunately its like feast of famine down there a lot of the time and no one wants to sit in a dead bar
 
My feeling : The front isnt work proper since a couple of years. Expensive and not nice.
I remember Zoo was a cool location, with cool people Today its a sports bar. Thats for other venues there ,too

Better sit at Petite Vermouth or croissant show or a different nic location

that's because what McR said above - people stayed more and more in PdB (call it ushuaïa effect) rather than spending their evening in town.
2020 is different since playa d'en bossa is veeery quiet.

also - yesterday evening 95% of people did have their mask on when I was in town. some people still need a lesson on how to wear it properly, but generally I thought the majority of people were doing OK.
