just a quick report, the island looks & feels MUCH busier, lots of people on the beaches, the roads etc. been to the airport to pick up someone and lots of ppl around too.
I also have a feeling that because lots of entertainment places aren't open (say venues like ushuaïa which attracts various thousands of punters each evenings), a lot of other popular places on the island (cala conta, es vedra lookout to name two examples) are busier than usual. said it before, also have a feeling ibiza town might benefit of that this summer. just a gut feeling.

I'm really confused by the mask thing here. I think because it was SO strict in Dubai, no-one dared not wear one.
But I'd actually say the vast majority of people I saw yesterday (excluding people on beaches or eating etc) were not wearing one.
I haven't missed anything with a u-turn on the rules have I?

Keeping a very close eye on the mask situation, I've been away for a week and just returned to see all these posts. Maybe controversial but I will be cancelling my September trip if this is still a requirement.
Bad decision by the authorities if they want to persuade the waverers (like me) to come...who wants that when they are on holiday? Nah. Hopefully things will be relaxed by September...

they never said they won't open. but a lot of people misread the message they had put up.
