it isn't, though. Apart from Switzerland and some regions in the south of Spain I know no country that allows real parties so far. And with recent spikes I'd be very surprised if Exit in Serbia or Croatia beach parties can go ahead.
In italy it is allowed to party. Jamie jones will play next week in riccione.
And 25th july there will be muretto opening party in jesolo with marco carola.

Do you have to wear a mask whilst driving round in a convertible ? I rarely hope not... also does it seem like to anyone else that the Balearic govt are wanting to deter people from visiting the island this year ? As has been mentioned before they don’t really like the part y scene anyways. Perhaps they are trying to see what a year without the partygoers will be like... I would guess not very good financially

Guess statistically this only works if the festival isn’t huge. As if there’s say 1 covid case per 1,000 In the population and the festival is for 100,000 even in that 3 day window from test to the festival start, statistically there will be 3 or 4 new infections.

Or if there are 3 per 1,000 in the population you’ll have 9 or 10 cases in that 3 day window. Of course the festival isn’t going to be for 100,000, but hopefully you get the point that testing three days before doesn’t guarantee anything. It’ll only take a positive or two from waiting for the second test results to cause a meltdown like Djokovic’s tennis tournament fiasco. That’s if they’re doing it via bloods. If they’re doing it via saliva or finger prick for instant results, those tests are unreliable and unregulated by most credible health agencies.

Here is the news from across the pond in majorca. We don't have the additional coppers being drafted in but some of the tourist business owners that have opened over the last couple of weeks are now considering shutting again as they don't think they can make enough money to make it worthwhile. Obs in Manacor, Palma, Inca etc life will go on in the same reduced way it will everywhere. In other news I had some nice lamb chops with chips.

But the questions are different

Expats were specifically asked about the new regulations (which require one to wear a mask on a hiking tour even if the nearest person is 1 km away).

Locals were asked just about a "mandatory wearing of masks".

If I were asked, I would have answered the English question with "no" and the Spanish question with "yes".

Spanish twitter is outraged about it. Leaving aside the usual yob shit, people are wondering why they spent 3 months facing arrest for even taking their dog out when a bunch of tourists are allowed to take the piss without even a word said
really? any of them from cadiz?
