I dont believe in Santa.
I dont believe that the King Elvis is still alive.
I dont think 99,999% Nightlife is back to ibz next year ,otherwise i will be the first ones to buy 30 early bird tickets ?

Along daily time ,we will see how it goes until end of the year And its quiet a mess with this Covid 19 crisis and ECONOMY crisis too.

40-50% of people probably won't take the vaccine anyway.

In the early stages lockdown was the right thing to do imo as the virus was unknown.

Now 5 months later with some data is the virus really that dangerous to warrant these measures??

All a guessing game. France is reporting increases in hospitalization, which while no where as bad as in April etc, is not a trend we want to see (also ~18% increase in peeps under 40 in hospital. But hard to know if that is significant without underlying numbers. Eg 5 -> 6 peeps)

I think winter could be pretty rough for many European countries, but am hopeful of improvement next year compared to this.

Ps: also depends on how many your operators survive along with hotels, bars clubs etc?‍♂️

back to anyone still planning to travel to the balearics this year. I feel like we are very slowly flattening the curve again here, it will certainly still take weeks, but given there are still flights and open hotels, I wouldn't discard october to be OK again.

maybe I'm wrong but I know there are some people on here that still plan on coming out

I have been here for two months now, and personally I have over the last few weeks shifted from strongly recommending friends to come to recommending them to stay away. There have just been too many negative developments lately (closure of bars, extended use of the useless mask - now even on the promenade, all places closing at 1:00, etc). And surely there are more measures to come. I’m sorry - I love Ibiza - but there are better places to go in Europe if you are looking to get away in September or October.

I personally recommand to every real ibiza lovers to go if they can.
I never felt unsafe during the last 3 weeks, serious bars and restaurants owners are doing a great job to make your experience good, and the residents were more than happy to see that some of us, the regulars, are supporting them.
If ibiza for you is more than just a big night-club, if you claim all year round that this island has a special place in your heart, it's time to prove it.
Be safe, take care of you and of the others, and you will spend some great holidays.
I am not sure the last 3 weeks were more dangerous for me than the next 3 with job social interactions, family meeting, etc...
We are all in the same boat in Europe.

Hard to prove when flights are being cancelled and people need to quarentine when returning home perhaps

I feel perfectly safe in Ibiza, that’s never been a concern for me. The situation is much better than what the click bait media portrays it to be, with only 25 people admitted to hospitals at the moment (a number which seems rather stable). Number of infections are almost irrelevant given the vastly increased testing.

The problem, however, are all the measures they have introduced, so of which you just have to scratch your head about. And remember that clubs have been closed since the beginning of the season, so when I was recommending people to come here in July that wasn’t part of the pitch!

My message did not come in opposition to yours, I understand that we can not recommend to come.
Restrictive measures, there are many in Europe, and in Ibiza can be more than in many other places. Me, it allowed me to feel protected.

The problem is not safety on Ibiza itself (there is always enough to do away from any crowds), but the quarantine on returning back home, plus the uncertainty with flights and possible insurance issues due to the travel warning :(

My family meetings are still video only, and it will stay this way for now - no need to act stupid, and video is almost as good as meeting people in person.
