Let the kids wear vests!!

Hilarious how this thread has developed.

Anyone who feels qualified to criticise popular fashion amongst the young uns must never have been young themselves.

And there has always been "ibiza uniforms"!

He's a test to illustrate the point: At the airport how many of you have looked at other travellers at thought "Yup , I bet they are going to Ibiza".

I have fond memories of my collection of Moschino shirts when I was 19/20 or so which were orrible on reflection but absolutely the pinnacle of style, sophistication and class in my eyes. And to the dozens of others who wore exactly the same shirts.

He who casts the first stone and all that....

this has got me thinking now about what, if any, was the Ibiza 'uniform' (trends is probably more appropriate) when I first went in 97:?:

multi coloured ben shermans down the west end seems to ring a bell!

I must be incredibly wrinkly, never having heard of Moschino shirts:oops:

The only item of luggage I used to consider a giveaway as to likely destination was a sizeable ghetto blaster or similar.

and my second, as my wife has just reminded me is ' don't ever let me go out looking like that.'

Whilst we're on the subject, this thread has jogged my memory: those caps that a lot of girls seem to be wearing (not just in Ibiza) with 'BOY' written on them W-T-F is that all about?!?!?!

I just don't get it at all (and yes, I am prepared to accept that it's probably because I am old and not 'with it' anymore)

It's a revival of a brand which was popular with clubbers in the 80s.
