San an was fairly busy as there was an 80's event on in a tent near the fountain. The bay was quiet as was the Trance night. Tunes were great though. Was there til about 5. Now in the airport waiting for my flight home and the depression to set in

It's busy every weekend during january and early february because of the San An fiestas (Flower Power, arros de matançes, etc)!

I'll definitely be doing January again. Had one of my best holidays

I think as a young person you wanna be in the middle of the summer in thick of the action, but as you get a bit older and less interested in all the club nonsense, the tranquillity of the off-season is definitely more appealing.

Yes, and even for partying winter could be very nice.
I had some great parties in winter ..

It's just great to go out in the evening and be around locals and actually feel like you're in Spain rather than the geordie shore crew with their noodle haircuts and man bags

I've done pretty much everything I wanted to do, spent a little time with some people I wanted to see again before the year was out and importantly I'm leaving with my head a great deal straighter than when I arrived (...). As it all sank in driving home, I think I arrived back feeling the calmest and most at peace I've felt in years. In 3 short days, the whole trip completely restored me. It took a bit of effort, and a few compromises, but the rewards were undeniably vast. All the right things at exactly the right time !

I would like to come back with my 3.5 years old daughter for a few days around NYE but flight prices are horrible compared to last year :-(

But when watching all the pictures and with all the good times we had with my daughter last year... I think I will not be able to resist ;-)

NY eve at Plaza del Parque was also great, enjoyed every minute of it

no one is against winter tourism. not least because it's usually not party people coming in winter and so even those locals that are very vocal against the party peeps in summer don't mind so much in winter.

Staying in Salinas as always, ready to get in the water on 1st Jan

Where in Salinas does it happen? Around Jockey Club?
