la noche is open weekends all winter, it's next to 'cheers', the best bar in the west end. if last winter is anything to go by it's a great night out. with lola in front and chicagos and casa nova round the corner you can't go wrong.

BTW bar 'flores' (mentioned at the start of this post) is in the side street of plaza mercado, where 'the ship' is.

There were alot of bars I enjoyed this year in the West End

Gorms Garage, Strikers, and another one where you had to go downstairs, the name escapes me now though, but its right on the corner of the west end, near where the place that gets badly flooded, near KFC. (Play2?)

But, the greatest bar I have ever been to in my life.....wait for it......has to be.................FUNKY FLARES!

I would walk 500 miles...........

Strikers, hmm, serving all the cheap pap you can drink for just 10 euros, while puming your lungs full of dry ice. Now thats my idea of fun!
Only decent bar in the main part of the west end, in my view, is plastic.
