i had a party at my old flat once where it was just me and one other for the first 3 hours, and it was one of those situations where you just want to die or something, or hide in a crate. Used to do meet-up things, debates, language exchanges etc back in the day and maybe should get back into it, but was a lot more self-confident then. These days, just can't really be arsed with new people (especially the younger, more successful ones)

Going to Bristol Friday, take the Dog to Snuff Mills/Stoke Park then I want to try a new place in Stokes Croft called The Farside for a few Drinks

Think Farside is owned by Left Handed Giant, so should be good. Recommend Sky Above if they have it on tap. Love SC. The Canteen and Full Moon have been Favourites for Years. Yep The Farside is the LHG Crew.

Ah the Full Moon, everyone used to all leave the office at 3pm Friday back in the ye olden days.
Heady days of the whole pub singing along to that new band Oasis, £1 bottles of Becks and the wife managing to barf over her boss because of said bottle imbibement & heading to Blue Mountain (where I initially hooked up with said barfer (was not barfing)).
Also my friend claimed to have snogged one of Bananarama in there prior to me joining the company.
Adding Farside to my weekend plans.

I'm off the beer for a bit, ended up in the Red Room (no, not that sort of Red Room....) at the back of the Llandoger Trow on Saturday night- memories are hazy at best

There were two guides and we were spilt into the group with a chap called Ian. He was a very charming, knoweldgeable chap, and made the 2.5 hours go like minutes!

Friday - Arsenal footy session and pizza with my boys
Sat - take boys to my folks in morning, watch first hour of Arsenal game at oppo's club house before a cup game. Saturday night - fireworks at out rugby club
Sun - may turn out for our Vets if not too stiff from Sat, if not I'll be taking the kids to rugby training (missus will if play) - afternoon a blank canvas
