Weekend Plans

Today - Arsenal session and pizza with both boys

Sat - running around a fly with a blue bum as I'm managing my football club's 2nd XI and well as my 3rds at moment, while picking up my sister and dropping her and the kids to my folks. Afternoon - hoping to make it 6 in 6, player-manging my team, Cup game aganist higher ranking oppo, so a good test for my youngsters (and one oldster:p). Catch Arsenal vs Bournmouth after.

Sunday - kids rugby in morning, then keep them entertained in afternoon. Mrs is away at Spa with her Mum all day so planning a Pizza Express lunch and then Wild Robot at the cinema. Liverpool Chelsea at 4.30 might be worth a watch

Lunch out today followed by New Dawn Fades, a play about Joy Division. Heard good things, it sounds a bit off the wall so should be interesting.

Taking it easy tonight as it’s a day / night session with Patrice Baumel at Joshua Brooks, Manchester tomorrow. Thought it be a good idea to chill with a bit of “Heart and Soul’ at the Vocation in Hebden Bridge first though!! 😉

last weekend of 'summer' for us here - for me personally it's always the change to daylight fading time that actually means the end of summer on the balearics. I just got back from a week in mallorca and I'm meant to hike this weekend here on ibiza (with some spotlighters btw), but the weather looks a little tricky for the upcoming few days so it'll be a play by ear thing, let's see how much we'll be able to do!

no clubbing for me this weekend - missing sven's 60th in mannheim. but I might be doing trip closing next weekend with RV...we'll see.

Genuinely intrigued by what actually happens at these. Can you film it one day? (pixelate faces if necessary)

We tend to meet in Mono in Glasgow. It's a vegan bar/record shop. Really just a bunch of people sitting around a table - sometimes it's five, sometimes it's twenty, not that different from a random meet-up. I gave up organising it because it could be a struggle to get people to come, so someone else is organising this one. Quality of discussion and vibe depends on who's there. Looking at who's going to this one - and let's just say I hope the topic of covid vaccines/lockdowns doesn't come up again. :spank:
