we went to Macarena on Saturday, a tiny little club hidden away a few yards from all the tourist traps, probably not that much bigger than Veto in Ibiza. packed out sweatbox. I had been before but not for years. It reminds me of the clubs I first started going to back in the early 90s, with the DJ 'booth' right in the middle of the dancefloor, on a slightly lower section. the DJs were all local guys who really banged it out (UK, US and European bangers). fantastic night.
