Fabric for us this evening too! See you thereLaurent Garnier at fabric tomorrow, assuming Storm Darragh doesn't bring the train network to a halt
Your area got the worst of it? Seen some horrible damage and we had a guy killed not to far from here in Erdington. Off to my mom’s to fix her fence after breakfast. We have a red weather warning in force tomorrow for gale force winds and rain so I’m staying in and making some mince pies.
It got quite noisy Friday night, but damage wise apart from a few trees down we’ve got off lightly. I think they’ve had it worse further west though.Your area got the worst of it? Was my 40th yesterday, pretty chilled out one with a nice lunch and then Rhod Gilbert’s show all about his cancer on the evening. Thank goodness the news last week was good and we could laugh at it…
Shortly off to see Bristol v Leinster in a very tasty (and windy) European rugby match.
One fence panel sacrificed here over the weekend too, will post something in the RIP thread to commemorate later on

We’ve had Leinster go down to 13 men for the last ten mins of the first half and it’s only 7-7. Will come back to bite us. Nowhere near as good as we were at Quins last week so farHappy birthday!
Enjoy the rugby - the weather definitely made our time at the Saracens game yesterday an experience. Get yourself into the bar at half-time to warm up!
Turned into a bit of a schooling. Hugely different to any other sides we’ve played so far this season, no room for flair, just physicality. You going to the match in Jan at the StoneX @Buckley?We’ve had Leinster go down to 13 men for the last ten mins of the first half and it’s only 7-7. Will come back to bite us.
