Semi quiet weekend…

Mrs is down with tonsillitis, cat has been spewing on her, she’s up the duff with the future king of Scotland and I’m not long in from a few drinks with our future child’s grandad (my old man).

Went to the football earlier, team were grim and deservedly drew - probs should’ve lost tbh.

Off to check out unsung Italian disco hero Roberto Lodola here on Friday at Casa Bonay. A very rare outing for me these days. A fixture on the Ibiza chillout circuit too with the likes of Willie Graff and Leo Mas.

As you can imagine, I'm apprehensive about being unable to find Puerto Del Carmen bars that play decent music.

I actually had a good time in los gigantes Tenerife because we ended up going to this open plan bar that opened late every night with a load of pensioners from Stevenage clapping along to Jolene. Just go with it.

Route 66 bar, Puerto Santiago. 2018. A very funny and friendly bar. They were losing trade to the all inc across the road so no idea how/if they got through lockdown. Really enjoyed that trip, despite the mother of all ‘domestics’ on Teide when I lost my phone.

We’ve been at Butlins Minehead this weekend. A school friend of our youngest had her 9th birthday here and we tagged along. I came here as a kid and I’m sure I had a great time then, but my god this place is depressing. Accommodation is very poor for the price you pay. Currently sat in the car waiting to go while the mrs has taken the kids to laser tag.

it's snowing on ibiza too up on the highest peaks. mix of rain and snow right now. mallorca's tramuntana mountains are getting lots of snow right now

We went to the Birmingham NEC yesterday to look at Motorhomes. We’ve decided we’re going to get this https://www.auto-trail.co.uk/f-line
So, we’re now deciding if we go with the dealer finance or go with our bank. The plan is for next year taking a three week holiday and working our way to Ibiza.
Festivals will be lot easier, too!
