I really miss my family when I’m away. Gets harder the older I get I think. When my youngest daughter was about 6 I overheard her telling one of her friends that her Dad lives at the airport 😑

I’m chasing the money at the minute so I can maybe retire early and take up a part time job as a postman or something.

I suppose we all do whatever we can in order to make a living these days.

I’m still not ruling out a lottery win either 🙏 my numbers will come in one day.

Got totally wasted last night. Started out at the hotel where a older guy with a guitar held a mini-concert with songs from the 90s. It was actually rather good. Then at a bar in the Bay area where a DJ was playing Spanish music. The crowd was probably 90% Spanish. The atmosphere was terrific. Then to the West End, from where my memory is not so good. The guys I was with knew where to go. I just followed along, surprised at how packed it was. At some point I had to grab a taxi before passing out. Luckily there seems to be enough taxis this year. I woke up this morning still wearing the clothes from last night.

It'll be a while until I drink alcohol again.

My youngest is going to JB tonight for Nightmares on Wax, top venue.

Only seen DFP once at a gig @Dirk promoted and he certainly delivered
