*She had been on said hen do for 3hrs when she messaged to say she was booking Ibiza in a couple of weeks for a 24hr trip. So I've booked flights for a weekend in August with a mate 😁

my original weekend plans were going to mallorca for the easter bank holiday to celebrate my sis in law's 40th bday together with a bunch of friends and having a few nice relaxed days.

but...after dodging it for two years, covid has finally gotten me. boo. and thus I'm home alone nursing what's like a nasty flu. ah well, at least I'll have some natural antibodies right in time for the clubbing season now!

Ah no way mate, you really think that?

It’s just a job really, and I’m away from home a lot. I usually don’t get to see much of the country’s I’m working in these days.

I really miss my family when I’m away. Gets harder the older I get I think. When my youngest daughter was about 6 I overheard her telling one of her friends that her Dad lives at the airport 😑

I’m chasing the money at the minute so I can maybe retire early and take up a part time job as a postman or something.

I suppose we all do whatever we can in order to make a living these days.

I’m still not ruling out a lottery win either 🙏 my numbers will come in one day.
