I know it’s run of the mill and boring but Tiesto has given me some of the best nights of my life. As has ferry, Armin and PVD

Saw Tiesto at Amnesia in 2003 and he followed Tall Paul. Just an incredible memory. Even privilege in 2009 was amazing. He was the king 👑

It was actually a really good ‘show’ last night….the venue was surprisingly good, probably about 10,000 there. But at the end of the day it was a USB, although the people still loved it

Yes, sometimes what matters most is just having a great time with other people. It's like the amazing times and great memories I have from seeing Martin Garrix at Ushuaia -- a night that was all about the experience, the setting, and the people I met there.

was talking to someone last night about importing some M&Ms to Sp from the Netherlands. A bit confused about the legal aspect because he was referring to official sites not dark web (?)

Wouldn't advise it. Someone from another forum had truffles seized by customs. This was UK tho. Official sites I doubt take the same precautions in trying to disguise stuff. Just GYO. :cool:

Fair play to them, this is a war that is being fought on many fronts. Many people are doing whatever they can, in a variety of ways and I salute them.

The second bullet point:

• Demand that every citizen of The Russian Federation takes to the streets to protests against the war in Ukraine, or resists silently by boycotting his/her job, and sabotaging Russia in any other possible way;

That is a massive ask of the Russian population, massive!

Probably highly unlikely to occur, knowing the vice like grip the Kremlin has over its citizens.

However, I think it would have a real impact against the Putin regime.

The power of the Russian people could possibly be one of the only ways to bring about an end to this madness.

Bloodshed seems to be the only way at the moment sadly.
 
First fresh Sunday in literally months so made good use of it with a nice walk along the quayside (squeezing a few pints in obvs) and a nice bite to eat. With things going how they are on the football pitch atm Newcastle on a weekend is BUZZING theres a proper atmosphere about the place again. Can’t imagine what it will be like if we start challenging for trophies again:eek:

So the kids did their part - eldest star of the week at school, player of the day at Arsenal Friday night and aced his guitar lesson again, youngest came home with 12 out of 12 on his spelling test on Friday.

Daddy, however, only managed a 2 all draw at footy yesterday, despite being half crippled today.

Still managed a nice afternoon with the family today - Science Museum followed by Pizza Express

Tomorrow morning will be dog walking with the usual Saturday crew (the other random dog walkers I’ve met at the park on a Saturday - social highlight of the week these days!), then doing some more work on my dissertation proposal.

Sunday out for a run and then visit my parents and another dog walk. This is my life now 😆

I managed to drink waaaay to much last night without eating dinner. Paying price for stupidity rn. Ugh
