I finish work for 2 weeks today and this is when I regularly check the forum, so just a message to say Merry Christmas/Feliz Navidad to everyone here and on the island while I sign off. Thanks to the spotlight team and here's to some more improvement on things next year

I'd assume by the very few desks open to bag drop and all the self service ones closed, I mixture of staff off isolating and not wanting loads of people touching the self service ones. 20 hours door to door, worth it now though

I’m an operator mate, but do most of the maint myself.
Also work as a slinger/rigger, so I’m at both ends of the hook so to say.
Great work if you like heights.
Has a lot of ups and downs though

In Europe I always opt for the old 20 euro handshake about 24 hours or so when I’ve weighed up who’s running the show at the bar.

I don't even drink anymore, so it's not like I'm after a longer pour or anything. So far I've seen everything from nothing to a dollar a drink to a dollar a round, with no pattern.
It was clear for Xmas Eve and Xmas Day, all the servers in the restaurants were hoping for more than usual, but I've no idea if we gave enough.
Shitty system, where the workers are reliant on whims of each customer.
