Weekend Plans

just got back from a close mates 40th, great intimate party. like the good ole days. ended abruptly as we left our dog on its own and realised we had been out far too long. not proud but jeez was we both happy to see each other when back home.

Debauchery on a school night craig, you don't play by the 'weekend' rules. I respect that.

My 'quite couple' last night has resulted in my only just surfacing from the pit. I'm currently sinking my first coffee trying to work out where it all went wrong. Good waves today too so this coffee needs to do its magic of I'm doomed.

ok, Primavera. a few caveats: We were just on the booze, we were only there one night (Fri), maybe might’ve been better on a different night, in a different frame of mind.. but think I’m done with city-based festies

Panda Bear - rather beautiful at times (the highlight)
Mike D (Beasties) - classics-heavy nostalgia & great fun
Ride - they’re all bald now. Bizarre 90s indie revival. It was shit at the time
Peggy Gou - sadly mostly boring ‘tech’ on a substandard system - real shame
Thundercat - jazzz
Mogwai - intense earache (was that Paula Yates on the drums?)
crowd: 10% interesting 50% bland 40% vile
organisation - excellent
atmosphere - sterile
inflatable flamingo count: 2
the pulled pork - rancid
overall - 4/10

We have thundercat and warpaint tomorrow night..:)
The kittster is doing his acoustic show tomorrow at 4.. he does amazing version of his New Jackson stuff on the guitar..
