btw, Babs, we went to the Wolsey for din-dins on Wednesday. My new favourite restaurant. really simple but excellent food. spectacular service and decor. not too expensive either (£50 each for 3 courses inc wine and 2 glasses of champers). enjoy.

It's lovely isn't it, very much in the same vein as The Ivy and Sheekeys, was very impressed :D

Fri: Cross the picket line-scab  Dine @ Chinese restaurant (hope I don't get food poisoning like last time I dined out).

Sat: Trim fro, visit relative. Evening, go out with Blister.

Sun: Big phat lie in :D Ma's for dinner, gym in evening.

Tomorrow - been waiting for ages, but Big Cox has finally arrived yay!! So Carl Cox and Michel de Hey at the arches in Glasgow - February was amazing so can't wait, defo my fave DJ

Sunday - probably in a dispicable (sp) nick, but taken Monday off work so in true Spotlight style I hope to get straight back on it (if I stop!!)

Did you have a good time on Saturday Angie?

We all had a great night. Cox was top, and made it so much better that there was a 5am licence.

Can you provide me with any tune id's again? was a bit

Hey Fergie, glad you had a good time - next time we're going to something I should get a peek at your pic so I can say hello :D

Had a good night too but was also rather   ah well all fun and games though isn't it  As much as I enjoyed though was a bit disappointed with the crowd - not the usual arches friendlies, definitely more chin-strokers and pushy people and more an air of a particular party enhancer rather than the cheeky variety...if you get me ;) Think his night in february just pipped this one to the post.

Just into work so sorting the head out - in terms of tunes, defo heard de hey play Abba, Voulez Vous - was amazing!! and Alex Kidd, Don't Hide It (had the vinyl for a few months, was fab to hear played out!) Cox play Just Kick, Seven Nation Army and the song that goes "Everyone cool, alright, I'm happy" - if someone can help me with an ID for this would be muchos grateful been trying to find out! :p

oooo also had a wee sing-along to sweet dreams in the 1st arch when mancini and huggy were b2b 8)

Did you catch any of Superfly in the Playroom? Thought they were nice and funky to get things going - 'Papa was a rolling stone' :p

The tune you're looking for is Harry Choo Choo Romero feat Jessica Eve - What Happened (I think :D )

My favourite restaurant too. Been three times in the last year and always had a great meal.

Yeah definately have to meet up next time...prob spoke to you a million times in there already

Know what you mean about the crowd this time, not quite as good as the last 4 nights I've been to The Arches. Got pretty annoyed with alot of the pushing going on! Stil, had a good night all the same.

God, I can't remember any of those tunes being played   Checked out the Playroom for about half an hour and it was great. Wanted to stay for longer but everyone else wanted to go to the main arch.

Remember Cox playing 'Strings of Life' at the the end of his set though, and also 'So many times' being dropped in the first Arch around midnight...after that its a bit hazy

When you going again next?

hee hee, remembered Strings of Life about lunchtime what a fantastic tune :p isn't it funny when you compare a night with someone else and it can almost be like you were in different places

Not sure when I'm heading next, think I need a wee break, but Pressure 6th birthday party is really appealing

RITCHIE HAWTIN, RICARDO VILLALOBOS, TIEFSCHWARZ, DJ SNEAK, MATTHEW DEAR (LIVE), KID KINOBI & JAMES DE LA CRUZ (Avalanches)

Aside from that definitely Colours on Boxing Day - the line-up's fantastic 8)

Yeah that Pressure night looks great, really want to see Tiefshwarz. Think we are definitely looking at Colours on Boxing day to though, the line-up's too good to miss.

Like you though think I'm gonna have a break for a few weeks just now. Dont at least two big club nights a week since I got back from Ibiza in September! :p

It's saturday night and the weekend for me is officialy over.

staying sober, then heading back to LDN in time to catch the last 2/3 hours of bad passion at the shacklewell arms - bring the noize

Hmm... that's original. Resurrecting a Weekend Plans thread from 2004!

I've got a art exhibit opening, a fashion show and then Luciano & co. at Arma 17 on Friday.

Saturday - watch football, attend another fashion show, birthday party, then whatever randomness comes including the opening of a new club called Mir.

Sunday - rest, relax

maybe it's me (inverse OCD?) but I just dislike doing things in a regimented way, like the obvious thing to do would be to put up a new and straightforward thread inviting people to comment on their weekend agenda. But that's too easy and too predictable and I don't know, I suppose you constantly have to find new slants on messageboards if you are to avoid become formulaic. I don't want to become formulaic, which isn't a slur on people who are comfortable being formulaic. It just doesn't sit easily with the mischiefmaker within me. And so I thought I'd pick on Fusion and try and provoke a response whilst simultaneously and slyly promoting my own evening. There's nothing more to it than that

hmm, I thought he never had messy weekends?

Me too, I mean (like stated previously) he certainly looked 'messy' when I spotted him in Miami, but purely an alcohol type 'mess' ;)

Sounds a great weekend.

Are you confident of 3 points having dropped so many recently? WTF has happened to you guys recently  :?:

I've just spent the deposit on a house on cosmetic dentistry so this weekend I will be grinning at anyone I can find!

 @ Buckley

Olly - No probs, mate. I saw what you were doing there ;)

Liam - No, not confident at all! Too many injuries and not enough back-up.

Hello!

After being stuck in my kitchen for three days last weekend with only Polyfiller, sandpaper and Ivory Spray emulsion for company I'd take doing absolutely nothing as a good weekend this time around.

However I will be taking my newly blonde hair (which is still freaking me out 48 hours after getting it done) to the following:-

Tonight - Ladies Night at my local Vintage Shop - drinks, nibbles and 10% off 8)

Saturday/Sunday - heading to Caerphilly to see my Bro and his missus, their new house, and to meet his future step-daughter for the first time. Quite nervous as I'm rubbish at talking to kids :( What are 8 year old girls into?
