Want to know about the mysterious atlantis....look here!

OMG THAT SUCKS SO MUCH...... let's all rent one hahahahaha.... are they nice boats? or dingys lol (wait are those the same in europe)

atlantis

No you should not try 8O , it is way too far  and the Es Vedra corner is dangerous with streams. You can swim at the Atlantis site :P (as you can see in the movie on our website  ).

What is it with Hippy soap dodgers and rock piles?

I've noticed this alot over the years in Ibiza, a favourite pass time of people with nothing to do is to balance rocks as high as possible.

There are plenty at Atlantis but also at an Island off Cala Vadella and all around the coast. I once saw some soap dodgeing hippies doing this and went to ask them why but my Spanish wasn't up to much and they seemed too stoned ( ) to tell me anything.

Maybe they try to find out how levitation works, you know: the way the Egyptians build the pyramids?

pyramids

Then first you have to learn the levitation trick!

8O  This is how the Great Pyramide is built

Bloody hell, andi and I spent nearly an hour driving up and down that road looking for the turnoff......do ya think we could find it???? We did pass it on the boat trip to formentera and in all honesty it looked nothing special. Looking at the pictures though it looks well worth it. Anyone fancy showing us this summer lol? :D

And another thing I just realised its a year to the day that I joined this site :D Not very interesting I know but hey!!!

Although in all fairness we probably couldnt see it properly from the boat, we were quite a way out, the boat didnt get very close at all for some reason. :(

I must say Atlantis is a MUST! The water is crystal clear and the rock formations left behind from the quarry are amazing. If your friends didn't know the story you could make them believe anything about those formations! Anyway, there's some good cliff jumping too, as seen here:

Go to mine (Neil's) and look @ the end!

EWW mullets were popular!! that's what hick trash in america have

I've heard that Es Vedra is the third most magnetic place on the planet after both the poles. Don't know whether to believe it.

But it's worth a trip to Cala d'Hort to see it.

i've also heard that - and i believe it.

next time your there, make sure you have a compass :P

My equipment did not show any sign of abnormal magnetic activity when filming around the rock. I don't believe the magnetic field story. Truth is that the elements of the rock are different than the rocks on the surrounding coast. It could be a peace of rock full of iron (the stuff our planet is filled up with deep iniside) or it is a meteor wreckage... The colour of the water at sealevel is a bit purple, whilst at other places in the coastline it is normal blue. Djin told us that there were over 2000 year old oil lamps found, not a surprise for me.
