URGENT APPEAL!!

What are you going on about ?? Nail on the head ?? 8O

I'm not saying he isnt gonna play something different e.t.c. e.t.c.

But when you say 'go back to his roots' you make it sound as if he was once a forward thinking deep house connoisseur. He was not and never has been.

So carry on with 'Judge Jules is gonna play something different...' or 'He is a business man...' - Fair enough - but please do not tell me that he is something that he isnt.

When I say going back to his roots I mean doing it for the love, not the dosh.

And that people just might, be surprised. Not only cos he plays different music, but because it aint half bad either. Im not saying thats the way it will be, Im saying IT MIGHT.

But then again it might be a different story & another sign of the times........Him playing DC10, and he would make a complete fool not of himself, cos thats been done already, but of DC10, and things just never where the same again. buuuhuuuuu

Do you DJ yourself ??? Well if not I can tell you his technical ability is zero and what he is actually doing is jumping on the band wagon in an effort to be 'cool'.

I actually resent him more for pretending to be something he isnt.

I get the feeling you won't be going to Judgement Sundays at all?

OK, calm down fella. ;)

No, I dont DJ, have been my dream profession for years, but never got any further than my head. I am passionate big time about the music though.

Lets put Judge to rest, we have spent up our reserves on judging him, lets use it on something more useful.

I believe ya, lets move on. ;)

OK but I can deliver another closing statement...?

He's a bleeeping, bleeep, with a bleeeper of a bleeeeeeeeeep and far too many bleeeeeps.
One word?.... bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!

:P

You love him really, just admit it. And don't think you can hide all your Judge Jules CD's, we've already seen them.

who in their right mind would turn down the opportunities that Judge Jules has had over the years. you're all just jealous. the guy is a millionaire whether you like it or not......mmm...... so who has the last laugh! :D

I've got Jules email address and I emailed him to ask him whether or not it's true, and this is the reply I got from him.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi there,

No the rumour's not true. I play funky house for a three hour set every week in the back room at Eden, in addition to my usual fare in the main room, but even if my music was suitable, I'm not physically capable of staying up at DC10's hour of the morning!

Cheers
Jules.

I think the most annoying thing about juge jules is the hype that surrounds him. I mean he is only a guy that plays records but a lot of people ( especially the younger clubbers ) kind of miss the point.
The worst thing is that jules plays on this and makes himself look an arse at times. He has alway been able to mix i remember hearing him in 1994 at cream and he was brilliant and played house, Ive seen him play since on a few occasions and ive heard him play sets and he hasn't dropped an anthem until his last few songs.
He got into the trance thing when it all blew up and people almost believed he was the creator. The whole crasher kid thing kind of ruined his cred which is why he stopped playing there so much.
He has rode the wave of success and has done good but now everyone expects him to be in a certain mould and if he decides to move on to new things then good luck it will be good to see him piss off the JUDGE fans by not playing the same thing.

In last year's Ministry published "Ibiza Mis-Guided" book they ask a few top dj's and promoters what their best parts of the island are:

Whats the best club on the island?
JUDGE JULES - Judgement Sunday at Eden

i have that mos book, its not bad. Deffinately aimed at the more clubber person.

i also have the rough guide book, which was done by one of our members. ;)

Someone call?! :o

I thought Misguided was OK too, quite amusing tone, though let down by some real howlers like spelling Formentera ForMANtera. The autor also ripped a fair bit from a Rough Guide freebie we did in 2000 that we did with Sega.

Good news is for me that the guide is dead as a dodo :) , out of print, so more sales for me!!

and the most amusing thing about misguided was that it claimed that there were only a few british tourists before the advent of clubbing on ibiza when the truth of the matter is that tourist numbers have been decreasing steadily since 1988, the year of our lord oakenfold. is there a connection????
