Top tip: Watch out for pickpockets at all times

Coming from Gitterboxen, the closed AT 05:45, wtf I could have stayed at home for this :( Never mind, I thought the hooker walk would be more troubleing but aside from the occasional pssst and hey there was nonproblem at all. You have to walk with some confidence.

wow shocked how many hookers were around Ushuaia this year. When i was walking solo always had a few saying hi. A couple I was a bit surprised were working girls as better looking than past years lol. late Tuesday after Space thought one was going to jump in my taxi with me as she wasn't taking no for an answer. Saw some cops arresting pretty sure a dealer near the queue entry to Ushuaia. Having said that the only time i felt a bit uneasy was prob in Space Tuesday!

What happened at Space? I didn't see any hookers around Ushauia in June, only when I walked further down.

At Space maybe uneasy wasn't the best adjective to use originally, but last tuesday as you can expect the venue was 100% full with both Cox and Carola spinning.... it was impossible to find anywhere in the main room to even just stand without being bumped into every few minutes, pushed, shoved by people walking by, burned by a cigarette, etc. Why people 95% of the people there don't say 'excuse me' or gesture when trying to squeeze by and instead just push through is beyond me. With all the rude people and lager lout-types there felt like a fight was waiting to happen.... which i've seen there a a few times before. I seriously wanted to push a few people back that were rude and i'm about the most chill person out there lol.

As to the hookers, they were mainly found after 1am in that area between the tower and original building at Ushuaia which you walk through to queue for the party.... though on friday since there was no show there were a few to the left of the entrance in front of Ushuaia also.
 
Paradise on 9th Sept was bad for teams of pickpockets and really seedy guys that were pulling girls off the dancefloor against their will (big fat gypsy wedding style) had to step in several times felt really sorry for some of those young girls that didn't know what to do didn't see any of that sort of thing at any other clubs I visited also the best one liner of my trip was a Nigerian prostitute (hey boy blow job ) couldn't believe it she must have been 70 hilarious also in pdb
 
Had 60 euros stolen from my back pocket last Thursday in San Antonio near the egg at around 4am. It's best to avoid dimly lit areas especially around the marina and just keep walking. The number of street hookers has certainly increased since last year. They just appear behind the trees and kiosks and try to grab into your pockets. I actually felt safer talking to the drug dealers and walking with them. Safety in numbers and all that.

My mate got pick pocketed in Space main room yesterday. Trying to move through the crowd and this guy was being a bit odd, standing in our way, then patted us on the back to let us through. Moved forward a few steps wallet gone, and couldn't see the chap.

Luckily only had 40eur left in it and a hotel room key but did sour the night a bit
 
I'm planning on spending 4 nights next week moving around in a giant hamster ball! I got done in July and i'm making sure its not happening again, already bought boxer shorts with zip pockets
 
Never saw any bother apart from one girl having her arm molested by a black women.

Top tip: keep credit cards in sock under neath sole of your foot when wearing trainers. And put money wrapped up in inside short pockets and only take out what you need!
 
If you've got lots of notes in your pocket at the start of a night, put some screwed up tissue paper or napkins on top of it in your pockets, simple but does the trick.
 
I've got an idea, if we all start jizzing into tissues and then leaving in our pockets when out clubbing it won't take very long until the pickpockets have second ideas! Who's game?! :twisted:
 
I remember a very early episode (maybe even the first) of The Bill and some old fella turns up at Sun Hill nick with a pickpocket attached to him. The old guy had sewn rows of fish hooks along the opening of his inside pocket :-)
