that's the point innit, you can kind of forgive the ones in real time that look genuine. that's fair enough, same as a player missing an open goal. you can say bad luck, fair enough.
thing is, if the striker faced with the open goal decided to do a sumersault, backheel to score the open goal, and missed, then you'd have cause to say well that was sh!t. no bad luck involved.
the point is on some decisions, you just know it, everyone can see it, both sides, both sets of players, everyone. yet the ref see something else. it's because they don't know the game, you can tell when a player goes down but haven't really been touched or there has been contact but so what, that happens 5 times a game. they're not fouls, contact doesn't equal a foul.
the worst ones are when a pen or free kick is given and nobody on either side, nor the fans, have a scooby what its for or who its given against.

but thems the breaks I suppose. Im sure we will have more than our fair share of dodgy decisions against us next weds. I love the irony of the rags fans bleating about being hard done by by the ref, when the ritual kicking and fouling of swp by evra and carrick went largely un-noticed for most of the evening.
