The footy !!

Saw the wigan - west ham match on the internet. Not seen anything like that ever.

2nd half was literally 5 v 5 in each area. There was no midfield what so ever. Could've gone either way.. And sky were showing arsenal v aston villa??

West Ham fans, you'll be back next year you'll see.

As for next week.. 5 huge games at the bottom.

Please Blackpool and Wolves go down.. I hate their managers

I was there. It was like Carry On Football. Great day out, apart from the outcome but that's life. The Millwall plane I think got the biggest cheer. Far too much to drink though, got lost up there and ended up boozing with some random Preston fans till i eventually found my way to the station.

The end of season gala dinner went well too by the looks of it! Apparently someone high kicked a vase, well that rules the players as they would have missed it. Ba kicks it off by refusing to sign his name as he was too tired. Last time I looked Ba had 2 letters in it. You couldn't make it up could you, god I love this club. Wish I went now.

Looks like the new manager gonna be Frank Warren after last night. Up The Hammers.

They have all the same traits QPR had when we went down.

A lack of comprehension that you've gone down.....thinking their too good to have done so. Not accepting your fate, the Championship is a dogfight, forget football style, you have to dig deep.

Thinking that you'll easily come back up, the parachute money will help....oh no it won't if you've got some heavy contracts around your neck (DYER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) so monies not readily to hand.

Taking your eye off the ball...Olympic Stadium. Don't even ask. That will be a millstone around they're neck forever !!

Poor management team. They maybe be fans ( Gold / Sullivan ) but their record speaks for itself. Whats the point of having wealthy owners if they don't know how to invest ?

A management team that's not well liked? Yep, thats them, only a matter of time before they want to leave a la Birmingham. I get the strong impression they ( Gold Sullivan ) are in it for them, not the good of West Ham. Only a matter of time before the supporters turn.

Over indulgent players. If the players truly are that good they wouldn't have gone down. Green only ever seems to make a mistake - totally unreliable, beaten at the near post ( again ) for the winner this week-end.

Poor back 4, indifferent midfield and attack. Couple that to a woeful manager. There's clearly some alliance between the owners and Grant but he was never a football manager - even at Pompey.

In short its a mess and one with the Olympic Stadium issue only ever likely to make it a bigger one.

If QPR have given one thing to Football, its a case history of how not to run a club for 10 plus years trying to be successful, look and learn Hammers, its not easy and for me the key thing is to have the right management in place...they haven't at any level.

Can't help feeling that the hammers are making many (if not worse) of the mistakes that we made when we fell from grace. Their squad looks over paid and demotivated, and I can't see who will take these so called stars off their hands?

For me the question will be can they stay in the Championship not even worry about getting out of it by promotion

For starters I believe Dyer is out of contract so that blows that.

If it wasn't for Green we would have been down a long time ago and bet you every club in the world would rather Green than Paddy Kenny! Holy ****, Paddy Kenny.

The pimps won't leave us in that division, they will ensure we get promoted and will dig deep. Too much to lose. Clear out a few of the deadwood and we will be fine.

Don't worry about West Ham, we will be fine.

Looks like we werem't the only ones ridiculed at the weekend.

I had to take some joy in it... only trophy we won this year

I went to the North-South champions playoff vs Blackburn at Stamford Bridge on Monday. A couple of good prospects in our reserve team. They certainly played better than the first team vs Newcastle on Sunday!

So if Chelsea reserves won the playoffs - do they go to the Soccerball Superbowl then John?

Who was MVP of the match btw?

Well done  My neighborhood childrens team won their championship also

Ha ha :?

One footnote: I thought it odd that the match was at the Bridge... you'd think they'd choose a neutral venue, but apparently the final alternates between the winner of the northern reserve league and southern reserve league.

Never watched the reserves play live before. It was actually quite an entertaining match. Good to see lots of young people there in the stands as I don't you get that with any of the Premier League first team matches.

They send reserves to play on tours around the America. They have maybe 1 or 2 first team players and the rest of the lot are reserves.

Upson , Gabbidon, Boa Morte are 3 off the top of my head thare are big earners who are gone.

If Parker goes then he commands a reasonable fee for an injury prone 30 year old, if he stays then happy days.

Green will end up at Villa and Tomkins well Twitchy is after him.

The rest of them apart from maybe Ba are not really gonna big money moves unless WBA, Stoke, Bolton etc is a big move for them. I know Pardew wants Cole up at Newcastle but not sure he fancies that but then money talks. Funny enough QPR after him too which would be a decent enough signing for them that wouldn' break the bank either.

Im not too fussed about keeping any of them apart from Parker and Ba after this season. Id like to keep Hitzlesperger (sp) too if he can stay fit

No, the places needs a clear out to be fair.

Be honest you would like to think Hitz would stay as he has been out all season so you would like to think he will help us get back up.

Green may stay too though especially if he retires from international football then he may as well stay where he is. Plus got young family and just had another (clutching at straws here!) so may decided to stay.
