The Footy....(2012-2013 season)

We are smashing it at the top of the Championship, there's a long way to go but after all the years of crap I've put up with being a 'Pool fan these are halcyon days. UTP

Arsenal again had trouble finishing, but a clean sheet was a positive sign. The LFC tie with Citeh was points lost for no reason. The Skrtel's back pass was something you see from the little one starting to play footy.

The goal by Messi and Renaldo showed great skill (too early for goals of the year talk). To top it off Madrid won the copa.8)

Villa have a £5m bid for Dempsey accepted, Liverpool won't match it but did offer a midfielder they'd paid £16m the season before in exchange?! :spank:

I'm a happy lad.

Jay Rodriguez
Steven Davis
Nathaniel Clyne
Paulo Gazzaniga
Maya Yoshida
Emmanuel Mayuka
Gaston Ramirez

Top bit of business from Saints. Just the small task of United and Arsenal up next

As a Brighton season ticket holder it is nice to see some fellow championship fans on here, if any of you are visiting The Amex this season then let me know and we can have a beer.

Good luck to Saints too, they have been great to watch despite the defeats. Brighton and Saints have had a good little rivalry for a couple of years in the same league but now wishing them all the best in the prem.

Just finished watching the game (Sunday's a work day here so couldn't watch it live).

TBH we played better today than we did in some of the games we've won against United at Anfield.

Once we were down to ten it was always going to be too much against them though.

More worrying were the injuries to Agger and Kelly.

Anyone else spot Ferdinand shouting "cramp" at the bench after an hour?

I would personally love to see both Blackpool & Brighton go up.

The Championship always seem riveting and unpredictable, season-in season-out.

With the exception of Newcastle a few years ago, I am struggling to recall many "bookies favourites" who actually ended-up eventual winners.
