The Footy... (2011-2012 season)

I admire your optism fella and i wish you the best of luck.. But with your talisman's best football slightly behind him and a mid-table defence you have your work cut out..

Sorry but i got this wrong... its championship defence...

Thankyou.....stick to half season tickets, DVD's called The Magnificent Seventh, free tickets if you buy six Changs, free season tickets with your mobile contract, loan players paraded on the pitch with their price tag that their parent club paid for them:D quoted to the fans,Rocky on the pitch, sock robbing, blaming Heysel for your demise, but most of all do it with dignity and style hahaha....Everton FC The Bizzies Club...:spank:

Read all about Everton's summer transfer target's exclusively in tomorrows News Of The World....

just as a matter of interest, do you go to the game mate?

no self respecting Liverpool fan would take exception at branding that other team from outside manchester manure/the rags/the scum.

no, they mostly refer to them as something else, which for some reason they think is acceptable. Begins with M. but hey, its liverpool fans, they are the most knowledgeable in the country right?? therefore its fine:confused:

not a fan of it myself either, however in think the 3 above are more than acceptable

I love football fans.

You believe this, don't you? In your head it's not's that lots of Liverpool (insert any other top six club other than Man U and Chelsea TBF) fans say every year 'we're gonna win it' and don't that's makes people mock you saying it, it's the fear of your obvious might!

Come on...it's this kind of passion, optimism and belief that makes the game exiting isn't it Bucker's?

Future champions?
:lol::lol::lol:

(I know... only a preseason friendly... but still )

Of Liverpool's starting line-up, only two – Jamie Carragher and Martin Kelly – can realistically hope to be in the side that begins the Premier League campaign at home to Sunderland in less than three weeks' time. And with first-team regulars Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez, Pepe Reina, Lucas Leiva and Martin Skrtel yet to figure, it's almost impossible to truly gauge Liverpool's pre-season progress.

The weekend absence of Glen Johnson, Daniel Agger and Raul Meireles also add to this missing element.

Like I said before it's no excuse really, as we should have a good enough reserve 11 to handle the likes of Hull, but at least Kenny can now drop some fringe players with a bit more confidence now..

thats massively blinkered that to be fair. You can't refer to the starting line up cos he made about 192873 substitutions, involving the likes of adam, downing, henderson etc.

Pre season results mean nothing at all like, but you can't say that no one from the first team played cos thats not correct.

10 points go to onemore...tenmore has a good ring to it?

Yes, you have flagged my play on words...just trying my hand at media twisting the facts without really lying.

OK, Ok so there were a few lads who had their first (or second) game with us in the second half. Henderson, Adam and Downing all played well and showed promise though.

Good to see all the lads training at Melwood this morning! Including Stevie G!! :D:D

FFS

Mr Mambo you are giving us a bad name

The brand value for this years LFC campaign is cautious optimism!

Who brought up 'the M word' for double FFS points, tosh - just stoking up trouble, get back to the Nuts footy forum!

I agree everyone has 0 losses or draws before the first match. Oh by the way 0 wins also. Man U will be hard to move off the top of the table again, but I'm gonna pick Arsenal to do it again this year.

We looked a lot better today against a (marginally) better side.

Yeah 4-0 against strong oppostion, great result. Oh and Torres' hat-trick was sublime, oh wait a minute, he didnt score again hahahaha !! ;)

Can I just mention that his replacement (who cost 27 million less) Suarez has just won the Copa America and got player of the tournament 8) Keep an eye on him next season, he is going to be immense !!

Oh no, I'm having a disagreement with you on another subject and thought I could get on your wavelength in this thread....

....how wrong I was.

I've never heard one Liverpool fan use the 'M' work, plenty of City fans though.

Like Mambo said....how many of the players that started in the Hull friendly were regular starters last season. Other than Carragher none of them were.
