The building formerly known as Space --> HÏ Ibiza

They are already getting good DJs in there. We got Andrea Oliva and friends already on the Tuesdays and In The Dark will have either Luciano/Joris/Nic/Steve in there.

Stivi, is the Black Coffee night gonna be one or two rooms? How about Armin's?
I thought In The Dark was Wild Dark. not those jokers..

I think some of you need to relax a little.

You're not going to change the direction Ibiza (PDB in particular) is heading in or has been heading in unless certain people (Matutes etc) decide they're bored of it or stop making large profits.

I went to the Sunday's @ Space closing in September last year and had a blast till 7am at which point Syrossian dropped Todd Terje, Inspector Norse and then Break of Dawn, Rhythm on the Loose. One of the many nights at Space that will stay with me for a long time.

So based on that remember Space for what it was, a place where people had fun, enjoyed great music and met likeminded people. Move on. Visit Hi or don't visit Hi, it's your choice. I for one had 15 years of amazing times at Space wanted it to never end. It has. I for one will be a regular punter at Hi not this year but maybe next, until then I'll keep and open mind and look forward to visiting a new club on the island. I reckon those of you that visit it will have a great time and be stood in the club having a 'moment' enjoying yourselves whilst remeniscing about being on the sunset terrace at Space! Happy days.

Nah. It sounds shit.

@DirkBigler. Take your point. As I said I'm a regular punter, not interested in being a part of any of those things you mention. I went to ANTS closing last year @ Ushuaia and we left at 11.30pm because it was full of people I felt weren't there for the music. Went to Elrow Closing @ Space instead which was bonkers and brilliant. However I will be giving Hi a chance, either the Sunday night (whatever that'll be) or In the Dark.

I went to elrow closing and it was bonkers (I was guy painted as zebra/tiger - I had been to zoo project mind  )

Hi might end up been TOWIE type lot, but I'm hopeful that at least one room or some nights will have a different crowd to that.

Guess wait and see.

Looking forward to seeing Hi myself, I'll probably go for In the dark. I've only ever been to space once before so i don't have the same connection to the place that some people on here have. I understand people not liking the music or the crowd that they anticipate will be there but some people on here need to relax, The aggressive and snarkiness towards stuff they don't like/agree with is a bit off putting for new members.

if it stayed the same as Space with a new sign - people would cry sacrilege
if they change it away from Space - its sacrilege

let it open and see how it is before condemning it
Or conversely saying that its good before trying it out;)
I went to Ushuaia once in 2012, mainly as Sasha was on. I didnt like it.
